David Sutter

David Sutter was named president of Five Star Painting, a professional painting services franchise that offers franchises under the Five Star Painting® and ProTect Painters® service marks, by Neighborly in 2023.

With over 30 years of multi-disciplined experiences, which combined franchise and corporate environments, sales and operations leadership roles, as well as established and start-up roles, David offers valuable franchise experience to the growing brand.

Prior to joining Five Star Painting, David served as the Vice President of Operations for The UPS Store, which operates over 5,000 franchised stores. Before that, he spent over a year participating in a startup emerging franchisor brand based in Austin, TX serving as COO and spent over 25 years with the franchised partnership network of Kinko’s and FedEx Office holding numerous leadership roles in commercial sales and field operations, including his final role of Vice President of the Eastern Division responsible for over 1,000 stores and 7,000 team members.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and will soon complete his Certified Franchise Executive designation. David and his wife Jeanne, of 26 years and their three children, Cole, Davis, and Caroline, currently live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
