Senior Vice President, Enterprise Supplier Management

Bob Bruning joined Neighborly in 2026 as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Supplier Management. In this role, he leads ProTradeNet's (PTN) supplier strategy with a clear focus on lowering costs for franchise owners, strengthening vendor partnerships, and driving PTN toward a high-adoption procurement model. He oversees key buying categories, manages PTN's financial performance, working closely with franchise advisory councils, vendors, and internal teams.

Bob is a procurement executive known for transforming global supply chain operations and delivering measurable business impacts. Over the course of his career, he has led organizations through periods of rapid growth, operational complexity, and global expansion—consistently driving cost leadership, supplier innovation, and organizational excellence. His leadership philosophy centers on elevating procurement as a strategic enabler of growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Prior to Neighborly, Bob served as Senior Vice President of Global Procurement at Vantage Data Centers, where he oversaw $6B in annual construction and facilities management spend. Prior to Vantage, he spent eight years as Chief Procurement Officer at CBRE, leading the world’s largest Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) for the commercial real estate industry. Under his leadership, CBRE’s GPO grew from $5B to $30B, driving tremendous value for clients and supplier partners alike. Bob also elevated the procurement organization by tripling savings output, improving service quality, inspiring innovation, and achieving world-class employee engagement.

Earlier in his career, Bob held executive supply chain roles at Flowserve and MMI Products, where he drove significant cost reductions, global sourcing expansion, operational improvements, and technology modernization. He began his career as a process engineer with Mobil Oil and later spent more than a decade with PRTM Consulting (now PwC), advising Fortune 500 companies on supply chain transformation.

Bob holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University.
