Brian Meussner

Brian Meussner was named president for Mr. Handyman in January 2026. He brings more than two decades of franchise operations and multi-unit leadership experience to the role. He is a transformational executive known for driving operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and scaling high-growth environments while elevating brand performance. 

Since joining Mr. Handyman, Brian has strongly impacted the franchise community. He began as a Franchise Business Coach, delivering strategic guidance, operational consulting, and actionable recommendations that improved performance, profitability, and accountability across multiple markets. In 2023, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, where he leads with a focus on culture, process optimization, and sustainable growth. 

Prior to Mr. Handyman, Brian built a strong foundation in the hospitality industry. He served as Regional Training General Manager for Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, where he led enterprise-wide training strategy and operational development initiatives. He also advanced through multiple management roles during an eight-year tenure at bd’s Mongolian Barbecue, serving as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and regional locations to ensure operational alignment and compliance, while driving strategic initiatives that consistently exceeded sales and marketing performance targets. 

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Business Administration and Hospitality from Central Michigan University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Chris, coaching softball, and supporting his children in whatever they are pursuing.
