Celebrating the People Who Power Neighborly

Employee Appreciation Day falls on one Friday in March. At Neighborly, we turned it into a full week.

Across our offices and operations — from our headquarters in Waco and Irving to locations in Portland, Germany, and the UK — we took time to recognize the approximately 1,600 associates who bring energy, care, and excellence to their work every day. The goal wasn't anything elaborate. It was intentional and personal: thoughtful surprises, shared moments, and a genuine thank-you for the work being done every single day.

Small Gestures, Real Impact

At our Waco headquarters, associates were treated to a Traveling Toms coffee stop — a welcome morning boost that drew people together before the day got going. At our Irving office, Snack Pak deliveries made the rounds in the afternoon. Simple gestures, but the kind that remind people they're seen.

Teams at Portland Glass and our local operations offices joined in, as did colleagues in Germany and the UK. No matter the location, the message was the same: you matter here.

A Global Company, a Shared Moment

The week took on an added dimension when CEO Mike Davis checked in from Brackley, England, where he and the team were wrapping up a visit to our UK franchise operations. In a message to associates, he reflected on what it means to be part of a company with remarkable people spread across the globe — and encouraged everyone to take a moment to recognize a colleague through Neighborly's recognition program.

It was a fitting reminder that appreciation doesn't have to wait for a designated week. It can happen any time, in any time zone.

What It Means to Win Together

One of Neighborly's Guiding Principles is Win Together — the idea that collaboration wins, and that supporting one another is how we do our best work. Employee Appreciation Week was that principle in action. Teams celebrating teams. Leaders showing up. Associates lifted by the people around them.

Recognition doesn't have an expiration date. At Neighborly, gratitude and care are part of how we work — every week, everywhere we operate. And that's what makes this place worth celebrating.
